The Royal Oak Dolton is on ‘The Square’ of the pretty village of Dolton in North Devon. We are a family run free house pub offering a menu of good food and drinks, and a warm friendly atmosphere. Cosy log fires in winter, and a sunny garden for warmer weather. Play Pub Games, Pool, Darts, Skittle alley & Live Sports TV. And we are dog friendly.

The Royal Oak Dolton is an ideal place to stop whilst in North Devon. A short drive from The Tarka TrailGreat Torrington and Barnstaple. And a few minutes from Haldon nature reserve, Dartmoor National Park and the nationally renowned Stafford Moor Course Fishery.

What We Offer at The Royal Oak Dolton

Food is served 12 noon-2.30pm & 6-9pm. Sunday roasts served 12 noon-2.30pm. Food is home-cooked. Menu changed regularly & Specials most days. We try source produce locally.

Bar is open daily 12 noon-11pm. We have draught Otter Amber, Jail Ale, Exmoor Ale, Carlsberg, Carlsberg Export & San Miguel, Ciders & Guinness. Plus a range of Wines and Cold drinks.

We have 5 Bed & Breakfast rooms at The Royal Oak. One room is en suite, the others share a bathroom. All rooms have Tea & Coffee making facilities, Freeview TV & Free WiFi.
